Teledyne Lighting`s (www.teledynelighting.com) Blackhole™ is a high efficiency optic utilizing Total Internal Reflection (TIR) to redirect lambertian light from an LED into a radial distribution pattern.

The patented waveguide surface deflects the light from an immersed LED aimed perpendicular to the plane of the waveguide. Uniform radial light is distributed from the LED source.
