APEC's (www.a-power.com.tw) APE1862/A consists of step-down switching regulator with PWM control. These devise include a reference voltage source, oscillation circuit, error amplifier, internal PMOS, and etc.

An over current protect function and short circuit protect function are built inside, and when OCP or SCP happens, the operation frequency will be reduced. The wide 10V to58V input range accommodates a variety of automotive step-down applications.

The output range is 3.3V to 56V.High output current capability up to 2A. The PWM control circuit is able to the duty ratio linearly from 0 up to 100% and the 500uA shutdown-mode quiescent current.

The MPQ2451 is available in a cost-effective ESOP-8 Pb-Free package.
