Germany - The JOBO PURE (www.jobo.com) 10 media HD allows playback of HD video clips (1080p / 30 fps) and photos in high resolution.

The JOBO PURE 10 media HD uses most advanced IPS-display- technology. (IPS = In Plane Switching). This allows for an effortless 178° viewing angle and bright crisp colours with great contrast. (IPS technology is also being used in Apple’s i-PAD). A new feature of this photo frame is the direct compatibility with HD video files (1080p / 30 fps).

These can now be played-back directly from the flash card. No more need to transcode the data in a computer first. In addition the PURE 10 media HD offers an HDMI output in order to connect the photo frame with a TV by HDMI cable – transforming the JOBO PURE 10 media HD into a real media player.

The extra fine resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels is 50% higher than the common 1024 x 600 resolution of the average 10” photo frame. And even when turned off the modern and puristic design with metal foot is appealing.

JOBO’s PURE 10 media HD offers a platform for the most treasured memories, right according to the company slogan: “For your best image”. The PURE 10 media HD is available in black and white for an MSRP of 149 EUR.

A version using the same IPS-panel of 1280 x 800 pixels and 178° viewing angle, but without HDMI-out is also being introduced for an MSRP of 129 EUR.

Next to the 10” models JOBO is also introducing two models in 8” for either photo only (PURE 8 photo) or for multimedia playback (PURE 8 media). For those in need of a bigger picture JOBO introduces a new 15” model (Piano 15 media HD) and a new 19” model (Piano 19 media HD)- both including full HD compatibility.

All new JOBO photo frames are based on the most advanced LED-technology. The new range of photo frames start becoming available in August.
