USA - The first POWERSTATION 247 has been installed in a business to power the company’s 1000 square foot office facility in Broward County, Florida. The owners are pleased to have reduced their ecological footprint, electric bill and dependence on grid-tied energy.
“We got our independence back”, the owner said. A 60 panel solar array is installed on the roof, which feeds energy into the system. The installation of the POWERSTATION 247 took under two hours. Installed three months ago, the system is working flawlessly.
The City Council inspector was fascinated by the system, and hadn't seen anything like it before. He was impressed by its functionality and simplicity, and quickly approved the final inspection notice. The final permitting process took under an hour, according to Adam Gerber from concept by US.
The POWERSTATION 247 is a complete and fully integrated, “plug and play” scalable solar energy usage and storage system with built-in battery storage.
The UL certified system comes in three sizes, 5 kW, 10 kW or 15 kW; all have the same battery storage capacity of 17.28 kWh. The free standing cabinet is easy to install and easy to use. The system integrates up to 3 hybrid inverters, solar MPP-trackers, charge controller and lithium-iron batteries, all necessary field wiring terminals and disconnect switches.
Commercial financing available from the Bank of Cardiff for business installations
Concept by US (www.concept-us.com/) now offers financing for their commercial customers. The financing program eliminates up-front payment as a barrier to using solar energy directly, by financing the installation of the POWERSTATION 247.
This new, easy-to-use loan program offers competitive pricing, fast approvals, and a simple process to achieve energy independence. Installation of the system reduces and can actually eliminate a small company’s monthly electricity bill. Financing will be provided by the Cardiff Bank, through the concept by U.S.’ partner, Solar Water, Inc., based in Glendale, CA.
Turnkey, autonomous electricity including power outage and off–grid capability
Energy generated by solar panels can be directly used, stored, or if overcapacity has been generated the electricity can be fed into the public grid. If the public grid goes down, the POWERSTATION 247 automatically switches to emergency power.
Electricity can be produced literally anywhere the sun shines - in the home, powering a business, an RV or remote rural locations and islands.
How It Works
After charging the battery bank from solar panels, the system provides energy for the customer’s consumption. If the solar panels have generated overcapacity the electricity is fed into the public grid.
In the evening or in case of a power outage, the POWERSTATION 247 automatically switches to battery energy.
During the night, the battery maintains an individual set percentage of its energy for emergency power outages. If the battery capacity is insufficient and energy is needed, then electricity can be obtained from the grid.
