USA - Evolution Solar (www.evolutionsolar.com) announced that the Energy Committee of the National Black Chamber of Commerce (www.nationalbcc.org) has endorsed the current solar demonstration project being developed and constructed by Evolution Solar and Texas Southern University at the university’s Houston campus.

The company was informed that the project received this endorsement due to the university’s history and status as a Historical Black University and EVSO’s past performance in minority executive advancement.

“We are very proud to be a part of receiving this distinguished national business endorsement,” stated Robert Hines, President of Evolution Solar.  "We will make every effort to continue achieving our leading edge goals in minority business development.”

The National Black Chamber of Commerce is headquartered in Washington DC and is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the US. The NBCC continually remains on the forefront of shaping commercial policy in the US and carries an influential membership, including industry leaders such as Exxon, Wells Fargo and AT&T.

The TSU demonstration installation should help Evolution Solar in competing with larger sector players such as First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR), Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL), Suntech Power (NYSE: STP) and SunPower Corp. (Nasdaq: SPWRA).
