The motors are controlled by remotes with enable the operator to move the light up and down and back and forth at will. While some of the Golights come with a wired remote control, most units come with a wireless remote control.
All Golights run on 12 and 24 volts systems, distinguished by their part numbers. For example, the Golight 7901 and Golight 7951 are 12 Volt DC version, while the 24 volt versions, GL-7951-24-M and GL-7901-24-M, contain a step down board which reduces the 24 Volt DC power to 12 Volt DC power compatible with the 12 VDC bulb and controller motors in the Golight.
